Ed Ellison

1928-1999

Born December 1, 1928, in Quincy, Massachusetts, to Florence and Edward, Sr., Edward Ellison, Jr. was the oldest of five siblings. Being the first born, this set the stage for a lifetime role of leader, teacher, protector, and guide.

All through his 70+ years, even through many years of failing health, he continued in these roles. From his service in the U.S. Navy, as a teenager, through his membership in Save-A-Patriot and Liberty Works Radio Network, Ed Ellison always managed to summon the strength to give a little more. He did what he loved and loved what he did.

It was Ed Ellison’s deepest wish to see the country return to the rule of law. With this goal in mind, in 1985, along with John Kurowski, Ed Ellison co-authored the book, "Prosperity Restored Through the State Rate Tax Plan." This book was the cumulation of many years of study and research, and perhaps his greatest contribution to the cause. Unfortunately, he didn’t live to see this wish come true, but as history will show he and those he worked with towards this goal will be remembered as "The Founding Fathers—The Next Generation."

With peace and dignity, Edward Ellison, Jr. passed away at 12:15pm on July 23, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Alice Ellison, and sons Jack and Edward, III. This is a great loss to his family, friends, and the nation and he will be sorely missed. He may not have lived to see his lifelong work fulfilled, but if he has any say, he will continue his efforts on the other side.

Special Note: Ed Ellison was for many years an integral part of the Save-A-Patriot Fellowship. He had a quick intellect which gave him deep insights into our Constitution and the law, as well as its abuse by today's bureaucrats and politicians. His profound sense of right and wrong compelled him to work towards correcting this situation up until the end. The best way to honor Ed is to continue this fight to bring our nation back from the abyss.
